Welcome to the LLP Gallery of Achievement!

On this page we celebrate the amazing learning that our children do in our classes and as part of their optional extra learning activities set by the teachers each week. Hover over the images to find out more about each wonderful piece. The text has been provided by the child’s parents to explain why the work is special for the child.

If your child has done something they are super proud of, please send it to us via email to hello@learnlaughplay.co.uk and mark the email SUBMISSION FOR THE LLP GALLERY. Make sure that the image is more or less square (like the images below) and well lit and clearly shows your child’s learning. We try to choose 6 really special pieces of work each week, so if your child’s work isn’t chosen, do keep sending it in! In your email please tell us:

your child’s first name
the name of the class the child did the work in (or for)
a short sentence to describe your child’s work

By sending in your child’s work in this way, you are giving us permission to share the image and text on the LLP website and on our social media so do not include your child’s face or any distinguishing features i.e. your location unless you are happy to share these.

Ava’s learning in Young Mathematicians: “Ava was proud to share her telling the time work from Nick’s class.”.

Jesper’s learning in History Alive!: “Jesper created this Viking Trollen wheel in History Alive! He cut out the wheel using discarded Amazon packaging from the recycling. He then used some remnants of wool to weave a rope. It took a little bit of getting used to, but once he got into the flow of things he had created something that looked like a friendship bracelet. He even taught his little sister how to use the Trollen Wheel.”

Beatrix’s learning in STEAM Club: “This is a filter I made to clean dirty water. I was very happy with the result. I made the filter out of an old sock stretched over the top, pebbles at the bottom and tissue paper on top of the rocks. The result you see was after I had only filtered it once so it’s very quick at cleaning the water. Thank you to Joanne for teaching such a good lesson and also a big thank you to the whole of LLP I enjoy all of my classes.”

Jesper’s learning in KS2 Geography: “Jesper has really enjoyed his classes about the rainforest with Joanne. Most of his work for the last few weeks has been centred around learning everything that he can and has even been inspired to help in our jungle garden at home. Here is his homework about surviving in the rainforest.”

Georgia’s learning in History Alive: “Georgia would love to share a picture of her viking long ship she made in History Alive! Georgia loved learning about the Vikings!”

Zoe’s learning in Fashion History and Design: “Zoe did her Fashion class about the Met Gala this week and was inspired to design this outfit.”

Belle’s learning in Focus on English KS3: “Belle made this poster movie poster using canva and AI, she was tasked to make a fantasy movie poster for a movie she made up.”

Ava’s learning in Emerging Writers: “This is her writing for the emerging writers lesson. She is very new to home education but writing is one of her favourite things to do.”

Eli’s learning in STEAM: “Eli loved making a rocket launcher using Lego and elastic and trying to make different types of paper aeroplanes to launch.”

Chloe’s learning in History Alive!: “In our lesson today we got to make our own Anglo Saxon stone carving. I made this one out of clay and my dad fired it in a kiln! I love the colour.”

Beatrix’s learning in STEAM class: “This is my rocket catcher it catches the rocket so it doesn’t explode and is better for the environment the silver tube is my rocket I really enjoyed making it and trying out different ideas it didn’t work the first time but I edited it and it now works I am quite proud of it.”

He’s come on leaps and bounds and is amazing himself with his ability to do things that he never thought possible. Today he learnt how to convert mixed number fractions to improper fractions and vice versa. I couldn’t be prouder of him and would like to thank Nick for his entertaining classes which make learning maths fun.”

Daisy’s Learning from Games Club: “The task was if you travel across space and step onto an alien planet what’s the first thing you’d do. Daisy said she would go the the alien McDonald’s. She called it McDonald’s and created this whole menu for it including some adverts at the bottom.”
