Welcome to Animals through Art!
I’m excited to invite you on a creative journey where the animal kingdom meets artistic expression. This class will offer a calm, mindful space for children to develop their drawing skills while being inspired by the fascinating world of animals.
Animals through Art will be a guided drawing experience. Each session will follow a “Draw Along with Ruth” format, where I will lead students step by step in creating beautiful animal artwork. We will refine drawing techniques using simple, accessible materials such as graphite pencils, coloured pencils, and watercolours.
Animals through Art won’t just be an art class—it will be a peaceful retreat where creativity and a love for animals come together. In this relaxed environment, children will learn to observe, appreciate, and artistically interpret animals while building confidence in their artistic abilities.
For safeguarding purposes, each Zoom lesson includes a brief registration at the beginning which requires children to have their webcam switched on. If your child would like to join lessons but is anxious about this or needs to have their face covered during lessons for religious or any other reason please get in touch, and we can arrange an alternate method of registration for them.
